How to Install a Linux Distribution:

  1. Get the ISO from the distro's website.
  2. Download Rufus or Bleana Etcher.
  3. Select the ISO / OS Image you just downloaded in Rufus or Bleana Etcher.
  4. Get a USB Drive and select it in Bleana Etcher/Rufus and then flash it. The Program will do the rest.
  5. Once done. Enter the BIOS of your PC/Laptop and edit the boot order so your PC/Laptop is booting from the USB Drive.
  6. It may take a minute to boot. You should eventually enter a live version of the OS.
  7. Follow the Operating System's Instructions to Install.

Note

Some distributions may have different "flavours", select the one you prefer. Some distributions may also have a Server Edition or a Raspberry Pi edition, know that you should use the normal edition unless you are installing Linux on a Raspberry Pi or a server.

Tip

If you are installing Nix OS, USBwriter instead of Bleana Etcher.
