Linux Mint Install Guide @ Linux Guide:

Linux Mint is one of our top reccomended Linux Distros for newbies. This is because of its UI very much like Windows and is not too hard to use.

How to install Linux Mint?

  1. Choose a Linux Mint Edition. We reccomend choosing Cinnamon. Click Here for Linux Mint's Website
  2. Click on the Download Button. Download Link
  3. Download Rufus or Bleana Etcher.
  4. Select the ISO / OS Image you just downloaded in Rufus or Bleana Etcher.
  5. Get a USB Drive and select it in Blean Etcher/Rufus and then flash it. The Program will do the rest.
  6. Once done. Enter the BIOS of your PC/Laptop and edit the boot order so your PC/Laptop is booting from the USB Drive.
  7. It may take a minute to boot. You should eventually enter a live version of the OS.
  8. Follow the Opreating System's Instructions to Install.
