Linux is not an OS dispite many saying it is. What is it then? Well its a kernel. A kernel handles many things this includes interacting with hardware, memory mangement, process switching and more. So when you are moving to Linux you will choose have to choose an OS that uses the Linux Kernel. These are called Linux Distrubutions.

There are thousands of Linux Distros out there for you to test out. We reccomend Pop OS for beginners. And for those who want to dive a bit deeper try Fedora.

  • Arch Linux is something for people who are confident and understand Linux and computers. But installing Arch has become easier with install scripts becoming avaliable for the general public.
