Mathematical Calculator Guide:

Brave Bot is also equipped with /calculator. Using the sympy library we allow users to calculate away... (haha).

Basically like typing in a maths question in Google. The operators however are listed below:

  1. To multiply you need to use: *
  2. To divide you need to use: /
  3. To add you need to use: +
  4. To minus you need to use -
  5. To add a power use **
  6. To get the factors of a number do: factors()
  7. To cube a number do: cube()
  8. To square a number do: square()
  9. For Trigonometry do either:
    1. sin()
    2. cos()
    3. tan()
  10. To get the factorial of a number do: factorial()
  11. To calculate the natural logarithm (base‑e) use: log()
  12. To calculate the exponential function use: exp()
  13. To calculate the amount of coins needed to reach a certain Topia level use: levelcoins()
  14. To expand an expression use: expand()
  15. To solve a inequality or expression use solve()
  16. To integrate an expression do integrate()
  17. To factor an expression do factor()
  18. To find out if a number is a prime number do isprime()
  19. To get an absolute value do abs()
  20. To round a number down to the nearest whole number do floor()

  22. To get a number of combinations do ncr()
  23. To get the greatest common dominator do gcd()
  24. To get the lowest common multiplier do lcm()

We also have the following constants:

  1. pi (Ï€)
  2. e (Euler’s Number)
  3. inf (Infinity)

Note

Operators that have brackets require you to input a value inside the brackets not after.

Info

The levelcoins() operator is an experimental feature. It was released in V1.18. It's calculations may be off by 1 coin.

Info

Only "x", "y" and "z" are support symbols for algebraic questions.

Warning

In V1.18 support was removed for multiplication via the letter "x" and to get the power of a value via the symbol ^.

Note

There are hard limits in place to avoid abuse. This includes a 200 character limit on any expression.
