Venting & Confessions @ Brave Bot

Want to send a Wish or a confession. Well now you can with /spill.

Purpose for Venting Option:

We live in an age where young people are struggling more and more. The idea of venting has become common place within new generations and the online world. Here at Brave Bot we are believers in the concept of "venting" and because of that we have brought the concept to Brave Bot.

  1. To get started do /spill, and select Vent Post.
  2. You will now see an embed warning you about abusing the system and what the consequences are for violating the rules. Please read this before posting.
  3. Click the green Button labelled "Proceed" and write in the modal/form poput your vent.
  4. Click submit. Your vent has now been sent to our GlobaLogs channel (Unless you get an error message). A open place for all things Brave Bot in our Support Server. People can read your vents and if they want to can send a blind callout for reaching out.

Note

Community members are welcomed to do blind callouts to help members of the community. We of course monitor this process to ensure no bad actors abuse the system. Bad Actors seeking to do more damage to people's lives will face a ban from our Support Server.

Purpose for Confession Option:

A joke like feature for people to raise their spirits. Send a funny confession and no one will know. You can also use it for serious confessions like the vent option.

  1. To get started do /spill, and select Confession.
  2. You will now see an embed warning you about abusing the system and what the consequences are for violating the rules. Please read this before posting.
  3. Click the green Button labelled "Confess" and write in the modal/form-popout your confession.
  4. Click submit.

A Notice Embed is sent giving users guidance on how to use the system. We also have /seek-help (A Utility Command) to help and redirect users who are thinking of self harm or etc to the ISAP (International Association for Suicide Prevention).

Purpose for Wish Option:

We believe people should be able to express their wishes. Now they can with /spill and it's Wish feature (previously a standalone command named /wish).

  1. To get started do /spill, and select Wish Post.
  2. You will now see an embed warning you about abusing the system and what the consequences are for violating the rules. Please read this before posting.
  3. Click the green Button labelled "Make a Wish" and write in the modal/form-popout your wish.
  4. Click submit.

Pro GlobaLogs is Disabled, What Happens?

The Confession and Wish submissions will not be sent to the GlobaLogs Channel, however vent posts will continue to be sent to the GlobaLogs channel regardless of weather the Pro GlobaLogs Override is disabled/enabled. Only when the GlobaLogs Override is disabled will Vent Posts not be sent to the GlobaLogs Channel.
