Errors @ Brave Bot:
Ran into an error? Here is how you can troubleshoot it.
Missing Permissions:
- This error means you have ran a command without the correct permission(s).
- You can NOT grant yourself permissions. Please talk to a server-owner or admin about attaining such server-permissions.
Topia Profile Error:
If you encounter error saying "You do not have a Topia Profile" or etc. This means the command requires you to have a Topia Profile.
To fix this do /profile, with the optional select option argument select "Manage Your Profile". Then click on the button labelled "Create Profile".
Unknown Error (Code Error):
- An error has occurred with Brave Bot’s code, please wait until the next hotfix/update for the issue to be fix.
Application Did Not Respond:
- Please join the support server and tell a Team Member/Moderator as it is most likely that the issue requires immediate developer attention. (Linked in the footer)
- If the Bot is Online and is not responding please restart your Discord client. If the error reoccurs after restarting your Discord Client please report this to one of our team members in our support server. (Linked in the footer)
Usage Limits:
- You have reached the Command's Usage Limit. You must wait until the Usage Limit expires.
Info
A command can only be run once every x seconds/minutes/hour. If you try to run the command again, you will get an Ephemeral Error Message. The message will tell you when you are able to re-run the command again.

Disabled Command:

This error is will only occur for none slash commands.
- Sometimes we disable Commands for rewrites or DB Upgrades. We rarely do this and we always inform our users in advance. We are sorry for the inconvenience this error may cause you and your server.
- If your server is over
100,000Members in size you can open a Ticket to claim Brave Bot Pro Membership for all your Moderators, Admins and etc.
Bad or Incorrect Arguments:

- This error means you have inputted an incorrect or bad argument. Please re-run the command with valid and correct arguments.
Command Not Found:
Note
This error is will only occur for none slash commands.
- You have entered a command that does not exist.
- Or you have entered a command-name or command-alias incorrectly.
Dev Command:

This error is will only occur for none slash commands.

Override Errors:
The system/feature has been disabled by the developer. If it is the official Brave Bot, please check our support server to find out why the system has been disabled.
Other Errors:
There are a variety of other error messages that you may get. It should say/outline what went wrong. If you require further assistance please join our Support Server. (Linked in the Footer)
How we handle Errors:
- The Brave Bot Error Handler immediately picks it up.
- You will then get a Ephemeral Message that will show you what error you got.
- GitLab's Integrated Error Tracking System (Sentry.io) then logs the Error with your Discord User-ID for
90days.
